My Rates

Why display rates publicly? Well…I hate the “whats your rate?” conversation as much as you probably hate asking it. Plus, I’m a huge advocate for transparency.

Want to work with me but your budget for the position you are filling doesn’t quite meet my rates? Please still reach out and lets have a conversation! As a fellow creative, I do have down days/slower seasons that I would rather be filming cool things with cool people and earning some cheddar (but not actual cheddar…I’m lactose intolerant).

  • $1,400/day…$800/half day

  • $200/hr with a 2 hour minimum time on site.

This includes basic flight planning and LAANC authorizations. Any special permitting or coordination with the FAA will be billed as pre-production at $100/hr.

  • $200/hr with a 2 hour minimum on site. Includes Fx3 and Gimbal.

If event is based outside of Sacramento, a custom quote will be generated per coverage needs.

  • $650/day

This includes up to an hour of remote pre-production.

  • $100/hr

  • $2,250 / Day

I will do all the production for you and you will direct! Ideal for single person interviews in one or two locations, plus some b-roll. Rate includes gear plus 2 hours of remote pre-production.

    • 2 cameras with lenses, tripods, all the things to capture a high quality image

    • Up to 3 light sources with diffusion and grip

    • Boom and Lav audio capture

    • Timecode

  • $1,000/day…ish.

Editing is quoted at a fixed rate during pre-pro based on the project’s SOW and outlined deliverables. This helps you, the client, not be surprised by a larger bill if I underestimate the editing time. It also helps me not be penalized for efficiency.

If editing beyond the SOW is requested, additional editing time will be discussed before starting work.

Production rates do not include kit or gear rentals. Additional equipment from my gear list can be rented.

Production rates are based on a 10 hour full day, or a 5 hour half day. Any time spent in a single day over 5 hours is billed at a full day rate. Time between 10-12 hours in a single day is billed time and a half and anything over 12 hours in a single day is billed double time.

Milage may be added to your estimate pending filming location, if production is outside of Sacramento. Any production that requires being away for 16 or more hours per day, or require a departure time before 530am or return time after 12am, may have appropriate lodging, travel and per diem added to the estimate.

Travel days to or from a production, or down days between production days while on a road trip, are billed at half production rate. i.e. if you travel on day 1 (half rate), have production on day 2 (full day rate), return travel on day 3 (half rate)…you’d be billed for 2 full production days.

Additional crew members are quoted separately if you would like me to organize a team.

Myself and my gear are fully insured.
